Everyone has their own preferences. I actually like wearing plastic at room temperature. It’s actually too warm for rubber and plastic for me right now. I really enjoy grabbing a plastic raincoat when it still feels cool to touch and feeling it slowly warm up while wearing it.

Nice find! Those were the heyday of those kinds of PVC raincoats. Back then, you still saw them a lot on the streets. You often hear that fashion comes back every so many years, so I hope these coats make a comeback soon. That’s much better than the chocolate-brown faux leather trend of today.

As a child, I had orange and yellow raincoats made of that rubbery PVC with silver-colored snap buttons. That's how my interest in raincoats and PVC/rubber clothing started. A similar coat can be seen in this photo:
