This has probably been linked before but happened to catch Arabesque yesterday on UK TV with Sophia Loren in a lovely 1960s shiny red PVC raincoat. Pity they don't make them like that any more! Gary that's your next project :)

Saw Janet one year at the Wild & Wolly motorcycle scramble before I knew who she was. She was dressed head to toe in PVC and was standing where she got totally splattered in mud from every bike that went by - looked like she was having a great time!

They were the subject of bad publicity in 2007, but they thankfully seemed to carry on for another 12 years or so. here is a link to that bad press:
