Re: HELP!?

I have the black Opal & several other matte ones & the like them all . My ultimate preference though is the Opal, just as Bill says it is great to wear and material is heavier & stiffer than the matte ones . Some might feel a little self conscious in the Opal as it is shiny - personally I don't but ...

Re: Stutterheim Opal Raincoat

There is a shorter version which may be more what you are looking for & it is cheaper - although not much . I am seriously tempted but at around $1000 , I think I will wait & see what the sales eventually do to the price . ! I have the Stockholm Opal ( bought in one of their sales ) & that is great ...

Re: Stutterheim on the BBC Website

Latest adverts online show both Stockholm and Mosebacke in black opal . Both at $325 in the US . I would think the Mosebacke could be very popular , unless the price puts everyone off but they are super quality ! We shall see !

Re: Stutterheim on the BBC Website

A check on this shows that I didn't look very hard, as they do actually have sale items under "memories" - you can buy Opal Lantern style raincoats in Green & White & Red & White for $195 . Not quite perhaps what many may like - but after all , no one has a monopoly on style or taste !

Re: Stutterheim on the BBC Website

The latest adverts I have received in the USA show their Black Opal Raincoats for sale - usual prices of $325 though , not a sale item .

Re: Sighting in Edinburgh's West End

Sighting in San Francisco - in the last week about 4 inches of rain has descended on the San Francisco Bay Area , largely in one day ! That's how it happens here - none of that permanent drizzle I used to remember from when I lived in the UK . . On travelling into SF on Monday on the train , I spott...
