Re: Reversible pvc blue and yellow suit

I saw that, absolute madness!
I'm guessing that was due to the trousers as those jackets turn up occasionally and never go near that price.

Seems bonkers to me now that PUL have their blue/yellow fabric back in stock.

Re: Project opening account onlyfan

Glad to hear there are more people wanting to produce rainwear content.

My advice is you make what you like and go from there.
You'll get some specific asks of brands but unless your collection is already massive You'll be spending more on rainwear then what you make from it.
The rainwear ...

Re: Drysuits, dry cags, dry trousers

I have a kayak cag that is one of my favorite items as the treated rubber lining is just about the nicest feel to anything in my collection and the rubber proofed thick nylon gives an awesome rustle. It's somehow also still comfortable no matter how hot or sweaty I get in it.

Wish I could get some ...

Re: pvc and rubber clothing harder to find

Even the vintage/2nd hand market has less showing up these days although there seems to be less buyers too. 20 years ago there was loads but a lot of it got expensive. There seems to be less buyers now as you can get some good deals if you can find the ones that aren't over priced but it's harder ...

Re: Nylon Rainwear - why?

A cagoule was what I could get my hands on growing up and I think that mostly dictated my love for them.

But I love the rustle they make. Not many swishy sounds get better then that.
The pvc coating/proofing on the inside i prefer on my skin then standard pvc. Is generally more comfortable and I ...

Re: Rainwear Usage

I think the only bits of rainwear we have that is exclusive to outside is the farmerrain items we have, we find them a bit heavy and cumbersome for indoor use and is mostly for when it is cold and muddy.
Although with custom zips added to most of our bibs we have occasionally used them for inside ...

Being intoxicated in rainwear

Trigger warning for those who don't want to read further. Talk of drug use.

Preface: I'm not condoning drug use or suggesting anyone tries anything, everybody should be safe and do thier own research before trying anything. Just looking to share an experience and ask if anyone else has had ...

Re: Adult puddlesuits

Dry kids stuff is alright. I've not got a one piece but I get the trousers off of ebay as they are cheap, nice coating and feel and last a bit better then other brands.
